Karl Keith Reynolds, 70, left this earth on July 21, 2026. His soul will be loved and remembered by all that he met or all the help/advice he offered….very freely.
A native of Lakeland, Florida, Karl was the son of the late James and Mollie Reynolds. He proudly served four years in the United States Navy, stationed in Misawa, Japan, where he met the love of his life, Cynthia Jo. Together they shared 50 years of marriage filled with love and adventure.
Karl is survived by his wife, Cynthia Jo; his sons, Keith Reynolds (Nicole) and Brett Reynolds (Danielle); his beloved grandchildren, Blake, Scarlet, Lucy, Colton, and Savannah, who were the pride and joy of his life; and his sisters, Juanita Harrison, Frances Baker, and Cookie Driskell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Reynolds, and his sister, Ladeene Allen.
After his military service, Karl devoted his career to the North Naples Fire Department, retiring as Deputy Chief. The fire service was his second home, and he was known for bringing smiles to children as the Fire Safety Magician and Santa Claus at the Philharmonic's holiday celebrations.
Karl never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer advice. He also loved his faithful pets, Hope, Honey Bunny, and Chloe.
Karl will be deeply missed by his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and everyone whose life he touched. In a fitting tribute to his lifelong dedication to the fire service, his cremated remains are resting in a cherished vintage fire extinguisher.
